Thread the pet's everyday collar thru the collar rings on the Zen Cone and place back around animal's neck - Take the two ends of the Zen Cone and wrap around the pet's neck (to create the cone shape). Secure the two ends with the Velcro strips that are sewn onto the collar. The collar must extend beyond the pet's nose. please see product height measurement for "neck to snout" length
